Our Oppressors Have Strategies in Place to Keep Us from Things Promised in YAH’s Covenant

In reading the passage in Exodus 1:8-22, we need to make sure we understand what those things are that our oppressors fear. They feared their might, their numbers, that they would join in with their enemies and fight against them. They also feared that they would leave Egypt, in other words that they would lose their free labor. They also wanted to kill the male seed. Have you thought about why the killing of the male child? That takes us back to Genesis 3:15 where the serpent is trying to destroy the seed of the woman. Let’s dig a little deeper to make the spiritual connections.

In reading Genesis 15, we see that Abraham was told that he would have numerous descendants. Our people were not supposed to remain in Egypt. The Most High was preparing a place for them in the promised land. They needed to get up out of Egypt and go to that place. So, we need to understand that these attacks are also ways that the enemy is trying to stop the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant. We cannot miss this point. These strategies are the efforts of the enemy to keep us from things promised in the Covenant. When our ancestors cried out because of the oppression, what happened? The Most High remembered the Covenant. It is vitally important for us to understand that the attacks of the enemy have spiritual connotations. Something is happening in the physical and the spiritual realm.

The enemy is always trying to kill the male seed in order to prevent a deliverer from coming forth. A plan was put in place to control our numbers. So, now when you think about mass incarceration, high abortion rates, high murder rates in our communities, police brutalities against us, the mysteriously high number of young women dying when giving birth, high addiction rates, you have to see that these are not mere coincidences. The powers that be are using the strategies of Pharaoh. They have to keep their foot on the neck of the black man because they fear our might, they fear our growth, and they fear losing the wealth that we created for them.

As we watch certain things being played out in the media, we have to be discerning and wise. We also have to listen to what is said. You let a person speak long enough and what is in the heart will be revealed – ‘out of the heart the mouth speaketh’. Enough will have been said and done to let you know that this individual is not the one. The one sent by the Most High will rely on the power of the heavenly Father. He will point to YAH as the source. When calamities strike, a deliverer sent by Abba YAH is not going to rely on the system we are to be delivered from to save himself or the people.

Using the past plague as an example, would Moses tell the people to go to Pharaoh for the cure? Just think about that family. The Most High will protect those He has sent so that they can fulfill their assignment. They will come in His power and in His might because the Most High is not going to share His glory with anyone. The other thing to consider is that the Most High sent Moses to the elders of the people first. In other cases, you’ll see the priests and the prophets being involved in the process. With Messiah (in the book of Luke, chapter 2), Simeon and the prophetess Anna recognized Him and Anna went a step further in announcing this to the people who were in the temple. Amos 3:7 says, YAH will do nothing except He reveals it to His servants, the prophets.

Certain things must happen before we get out of here and this is what you see playing out in the media. There has to be an acknowledgment worldwide about who we are. We know this because YAH said, they (as in the nations of the world) will know that He has loved us. Also, as these plagues continue, they will know why these things are happening (read Joel 3). Just like with the first Exodus, they will recognize that the Most High is fighting for us. Consider that this is the first time since we became a nation that we lost our identity. A lot of our people still don’t know who they are, so the upheavals must happen in order to point to us as the true people of the Book. If you read the first chapter of the book of Exodus, you will see that it begins by identifying those who came out of the loins of our forefather Jacob.

The Most High is putting things in place to do the same thing now. He’s making a distinction when He says, “Come out of her My people.” He’s talking to you! You survived everything that happened to our ancestors. The oppressor does not want us to be Israel; they do not want us to identify with who we truly are. “Come and let us cut them off from being a nation”, they said. But the days are fast approaching for the nations to answer to the Most High for their crimes against us. They – the elite – know it’s coming and they’re trying to delay it at all cost.
