The Year 2016 Marked A Significant Movement In Our Awakening

We can see that the tides are turning in this nation, and not just this nation. Folks are starting to pay attention and they’re asking more questions. They are starting to wake up to certain things. People are now pushing back against the narrative of the Rev 2:9ers in ways that was unthinkable just a few years ago. I do believe you had a part to play in that– our people, our community. A lot of the things that we’ve been saying that caused folks to lose their channels or for them to demonetize their channel is trending now on social media platforms. Who could have predicted that 2016 would mark such a significant movement in our awakening? Yes, we know that there are a lot of our people who woke up prior to 2016, but 2016 was a pivotal year. A shift happened and it caused a domino effect that went unnoticed. So, we need to talk about it because I want you to see how it has impacted the world, not just America. Nearly a decade later, I want you to see the fruit of what we’ve been doing. The truth about who we are, the impact of our awakening and our influence is more powerful than you realize. A lot of our people started opening their eyes and hearing the truth about who we are and what has happened to us over the centuries. And then they started talking about it and exposing that truth and things began to shift in the in the spirit realm.

In looking look at the map of the European slave trade from the previous blog, you see a depiction of how our people were scattered around the world. But the scattering began before that. Isaiah 11:12 said, “He will set up an ensign for the nations and will assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” This is something the Most High said He would do. This ensign or sign or signal is going to be to the nations. The outcasts are those who were driven out and banished out of their land into other nations. Notice that the verse says something specific happened to the house of Judah; Judah went to the four corners of the earth. Let’s keep in mind that the Arab slave trade was just as effective in causing our people to be uprooted and forced into other countries on the continent of Africa and in the so-called Middle East. But we can’t stop there. We have to go all the way back to the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem because the house of Judah remained in the land. Now, long before that, the northern tribes were kicked out of the land even before the time of Messiah. So, think about how long it’s been– long enough for us to completely forget who we are, lose our identity, customs, culture, and wealth. Now, that’s a big component. They definitely had a hand in making sure they got their hands on the wealth on the wealth.

So, let’s talk about 2016. Something happened and a lot of us started hearing “Wake up!” But before that, YAH had already started moving in the hearts of a select group and they started saying, “We are the people. We’re the Israelites.” The message came out in trickles, but they kept at it and started sharing the information either in print form, on websites or social media pages. Some were on the street corners. Folks didn’t necessarily agree with that method, but they certainly got the attention needed. Others chose to deliver the message in another way. But how many of you received a lot of push back even when you tried to talk to people and you weren’t yelling and cussing? Again, something started happening around 2016. There was a shift. And I want to make sure we don’t overlook some of these things because sometimes you can be discouraged thinking, well, nothing’s happening. No, there are some things happening. We also saw a shift in academia as it pertained to the declarations we started putting out there. Institutions and research centers began sharing the information and data they were too afraid to share before. For a lot of us, we had to rely on old books and journal articles that were not easy to find. A lot of them are behind pay walls.

When we lost our heritage and our identity, our enemies tried to erase our history. They raised up another people and made the world believe that they were the true people. But that’s not all. Slavery wasn’t just about the physical, emotional, and mental abuse. They created a history for us. They created stereotypes. The stereotypes were unfair and untrue in a lot of ways, but their words about us and their perceptions seeped into our hearts. Sadly, a lot of our people still believe those words. So, their actions are an indication of their beliefs about themselves. It also affected how other nations interact with us to include some who look like us. Folks come here from different countries on the continent and other countries. They bought into the stereotypes and when they come here, they think they’re better than us. Even though a lot of our people are doing better and experiencing a higher standard of living than the communities they came from. A stigma has been attached to us. Scripture is true when it says you will be a byword. It’s an expression used to describe something negative. In the context of Deuteronomy 28:37, it says we would become an object of horror and ridicule among nations. Meaning we would experience a significant loss of dignity and respect.

Words are weapons. When you use YAH’s word, it changes something in the spirit realm and then you see the manifestation in the natural realm. Goliath used words and it paralyzed the nation of Israel. When David came on the scene, what did he use to fight back before he threw a stone? Words! The Most High’s word is used to destroy the strongholds of the enemy. So, we started declaring that we are the people of the book, and a lot of our people suffered as a result. Some of us lost friends or relationships with family members because we wouldn’t let go of that confession. We have to study to show ourselves approved and then we have to begin to declare those things. Again, our words are weapons, and we can see how it is influencing the world. We need to say to our oppressors, “We’re wide awake. We know what you did and your actions will have consequences.”

Wokeism began in our community. We’re not going to let them redefine it. Some of these same people ridiculed and belittled us for it. But today, woke has been adopted and co-opted, and now it’s associated with the far right, no longer associated from the original intent. Are we going to let that happen, family. I believe our words. I believe the truth about who we are is more powerful than you realize. We are having an impact even though it may not seem like it.
