We have been given supernatural power and it’s important for you to know why that power has been given to the children of Israel. Let’s begin by talking about the two kingdoms: the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. Both are spiritual kingdoms and possess sources of power. When witnessed here on earth, we say that it’s supernatural. You have to understand how the two kingdoms work. The kingdom of darkness is trying to destroy light, but we know that’s not going to work because John 1:5 makes it clear that darkness does not have the ability to overcome light. The knowledge of the power and glory of the kingdom of heaven is extremely important for us to understand, particularly as the days continue to grow dim. The problem is that many claim to believe that the Most High is all-powerful, yet they live like skeptics. This is particularly true for those who are or have been affiliated with Christianity. Why? Because traditional Christian teaching has kept the unseen world hidden and the evident power of the Holy Spirit at arm’s length.
I’m going to challenge you to stop thinking that supernatural simply means there’s no known explanation for it. Think about what I just said, because chances are if you believe that there’s no explanation for a thing, your mind will write it off as something that happened by chance or fluke and you will not consider that supernatural forces may be at work. There’s more to this world than the things we can see. The kingdom of heaven exists; it’s a place. To live there you need a different type of body because flesh and blood cannot live there. The same is true for those who are there; to live here they need a body made of flesh and blood and you can learn more about that in I Corinthians 15. The power of both kingdoms is influencing us here and they can be observed. It’s often perceived as a miracle or supernatural occurrence because we can’t see the force working behind the scenes. When we say the kingdom of light or the kingdom of heaven, we’re talking about the way of the kingdom – the Most High’s way of doing things: his laws, his statutes, commandments, and his customs. As his children, the royal family, we have to re-learn how to live as kingdom of heaven citizens. This is what Messiah is talking about when he says the kingdom is within you (Luke 17:20-21). The source of power is His word – you release it when you speak. You speak back to Him what He has already said. Those promises are yours because His word cannot return to Him void. You have to know what the covenant says, you have to know what the promises are, you have to study His word, you have to meditate and know these things. Just like the Most High made those promises to our ancestors, those promises are for us today. He says to put Him in remembrance of them. This great power that He has given to us is not for the worship of man, it’s given for the glory of the Almighty.
So, what hinders us from operating fully in the power of the kingdom? According to Ephesians 2:1-3, it is our sin and disobedience that gives power to the kingdom of darkness. When we give in to those things, that’s the fuel that’s added to the fire for the kingdom of darkness. The Most High gave His people supernatural gifts and power that’s clearly demonstrated throughout scripture. You can’t expect to operate in His power by walking in disobedience. You have to submit to the authority of His word. To walk in His power, you have to be fully committed to Him. He wants to show himself strong on our behalf, particularly in these last days – not just so we can be lifted up in pride. When we do great exploits in the earth, it manifests His power and it brings Him glory. We are spiritual beings; we just happen to live in this earthly body. We are endowed with supernatural gifts and the supernatural also include things that are demonic and wrong. This is why you have to be discerning and look at the end results. Anything that’s trying to usurp the ways of the kingdom is from another source or to give glory to another deity, another god. You have to be looking at who’s going to be glorified in the end and what will the end results be. The wicked one has a source of power as well and the scriptures warn us against those things. Some of them include: divination, root workers, witches, fortune tellers, talking to the dead, and all of those other evil practices. These are things we need to stay away from. We shouldn’t have to go to anyone to read our fortune or to read our palm to tell us what’s going to happen. We should not be engaging in ouija boards, seances and necromancy – where you’re talking to the dead – voodoo, etc. It’s not wrong for us to reverence our ancestors who have passed, but not where you’re sitting up there trying to communicate and talk to the dead. You shouldn’t be involved in pantheism, where they have a belief that god consists of everyone and everything’s god. Those are things that we need to stay away from because those are sources that the kingdom of darkness uses. Those are not the ways of The Most High. He is your source of power. You are not to put anything else above Him.
Prophecies concerning the nation of Israel are the key to understanding everything that’s happening in our world today. It’s time for the house of Israel and the house of Judah to be re-introduced to the power and glory of their Elohim and the mighty acts of their forefathers. The earth is literally groaning as it waits for their manifestation. There is so much that we have to relearn about our history and our ancestors. Just remember, there’s a purpose for His power. He does it so that He can fight on our behalf. It gives us confidence to know that our King, our Father, is fighting for us and protecting us. As our people continue to awaken and return to the Father, we also have to learn about our superpowers – this is a part of our heritage. The Most High used our ancestors supernaturally and it glorified His name. We are their descendants, so we need to know about those things (what do they do) and then we need to learn from them – the good the bad and the ugly – so that we can apply those lessons to our lives today, particularly as we are discerning the times. We know the power comes from the Most High. If we say we’re His children, why would we not have access to His power?
