The fall of Jerusalem marked a significant and far-reaching occurrence in world history. When the Romans conquered Judea and destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, they massacred a lot of the descendants of the children of Israel. However, many of them were able to escape into Africa and the other surrounding countries because they remembered Messiah’s warning from Luke 21:20-2. This prophecy is telling us that we would be taken captive, and we would go into all nations as slaves. Obviously, there were those who heeded the warning and left Judea when they saw the Romans preparing for the attack because this wasn’t an overnight process. This took a number of years. But for those who remained in the city, they experienced unspeakable horror and many of them were also taken into slavery.
So how did we get from Jerusalem to slavery? The evidence is right here on the map. Those from the house of Judah were the people trafficked around the world and sold into slavery. Our ancestors ran into Africa to get away from the Romans. They migrated down into West Africa where they would eventually be rounded up and trafficked around the world. Again, fulfilling Bible prophecy. Family, do you know who helped the Romans with the attacks against our people? The children of Esau. They were living in our land. They already had connections with the Romans, and they were given the perfect opportunity to get revenge on the children of Jacob.
We gave our enemies an opportunity to blaspheme YAH and this is to our shame. The thing is our enemies don’t even consider that they were allowed to get the upper hand. When we read Lamentations 2:1-2, we see that it was the work of the Most High who brought us down to the ground. The Romans were the chastening rod. Now also keep in mind that this is the final kingdom in Daniel’s vision. This is the same kingdom that was in power when Messiah was born. It was mainly a political powerhouse then. Rome evolved and began to control through religion (i.e., the Roman Catholic Church). They never changed their name. They added an identity: Catholic or universal church. Do they still maintain some political control? Yes, behind the scenes.
The nations had a chance to witness the might of YAH when they saw the things He did through us (Exodus 34:10). How shameful it is that we gave the Romans the opportunity to even think that YAH’s might was no match for their gods. For that alone, we deserved to be punished. This is why there has to be another face-off. The men of Israel will be given the opportunity to reclaim the dignity the enemy tried to take from them. Why do you think they started calling them “boy”? So, brothers, just know that your day will come when you will need to suit up and be ready. If we study previous battles, we know that it’s going to take more than muscles and might. We know that it’s going to take the super added to your natural because the enemy is being propped up by the kingdom of darkness and they will do whatever it takes to stay in power. Why do you think they’re trying to manipulate DNA and bring back things that existed long ago? They’re trying to resurrect their heroes. They are trying to synchronize themselves with the power of darkness.
The people of the Most High need to also know that we are capable of doing great things when we are one with our Father. The power that comes from Abba YAH, the enemy already knows they are no match for that. But to activate YAH’s power requires obedience. You go down before He raises you up–and I’m speaking about being submitted to the King of kings. We often only think about submission as it pertains to wives submitting to husbands. But what was Israel? The Most High says He’s married to the backslider. Was Israel submitted to her husband? No! So, be the example of what submission looks like. When we can do that as a people, no weapon that’s formed against us can prosper. But we have to put ourselves in the right posture to receive His power. Consider what happened when Moses went up against Og, and David against Goliath. They didn’t rely on their own strength. Those who have ears, you will hear. Let the weak say, “I am strong.” How can you say, “I’m strong”? Because you will begin to operate in the power that comes from the Kingdom of heaven. You will stand in His might and His power. So, start dedicating time to prayer and fasting and ask YAH to reveal your gifts, talents, and abilities to you.
